California = BYD Electric Garbage Truck

Each BYD Electric Garbage Truck eliminates 6,000 gallons of diesel (per year)— equivalent to 78 metric tons of co2e (carbon dioxide equivalent). Green Waste of Palo Alto deployed this electric refuse truck throughout Silicon Valley and plans to run its entire residential garbage fleet with electric vehicles.
