Beijing's first bicycle-only expressway

Beijing opened its first bicycle-only expressway on Friday to ease traffic pressure and promote green travel. The 6.5-km bikeway will greatly cut down the commute time between Huilongguan community in northern Changping District and Shangdi community in northwestern Haidian District, from 40 minutes to about 26 minutes.
