Perú - Nanosatellite QB50 - Launch 2017

The National University of Engineering (UNI), will launch to the space 50 satellites whose main mission will be to gather information on the radiation of the environment. This work is being carried out jointly with universities in Mexico and Spain.

He also reported that he is working in a consortium with the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and the Autonomous University of Mexico for the development and launch of 50 satellites, called QB50.
In February 2017, it is planned to send another 10 satellites from the International Space Station. "The main objective of this mission will be the measurement of parameters in space, mainly radiation, but because they are satellites of two or three kilos in weight, you can put additional charges to collect other information," he added the scientist.
